How a commission runs, from room to delivery
The eight stages between an agreed specification and a finished table, and what you see at each one.

Specification first
We agree dimensions for your room, then select and reserve a slab, then confirm resin and base. Only when the specification is complete do we agree a price and begin.
Slab selection and preparation
The slab is inspected for structural integrity and visual impact, then milled flat on both faces. Bark is removed and the live edges are cleaned back to sound timber.
Form and pour
A form is built around the slab to contain the resin. The resin is mixed, coloured and poured in controlled depths so it cures without stress. A deep river can take several days to pour and cure.
Flattening and finishing
The cured top is flattened, then sanded through the grades. C-channel steel is let into the underside to keep the top flat over time. The surface is finished in oil and hand buffed.
Base and delivery
The base is fitted and the table is checked level before it leaves. Collection is by appointment; delivery across the UK is quoted per piece.
