The Meridian
A highly figured burr chestnut slab, split by a natural divide and rejoined with a run of solid oak bow ties. Swirling figure, natural voids and rich tonal variation are preserved, with dark resin used only to stabilise and contrast the form rather than dominate it. Set on a solid steel base.
