There are a number of directions clients explore when choosing a resin, but one option consistently stands above the rest. Every colour here is poured in the workshop and shown against real timber in the table designer.

Black, the leading choice
Black remains the most popular option for river tables, available in both gloss and matt finishes. It creates strong contrast against the timber, particularly with lighter woods such as oak. Gloss adds depth and reflection, while matt offers a more subtle, contemporary look.
Water-inspired tones
Blues continue to be a popular choice for traditional river effects. Cobalt, turquoise, teal and translucent blue help replicate the depth and movement of water.
Modern neutral finishes
Softer neutrals such as smoke grey provide a more understated finish, maintaining contrast while delivering a refined, balanced look.
Metallics and natural hues
Metallics including gold, copper and silver add movement and light reflection. Deeper greens and rich browns offer a more organic, natural feel.
Gloss Black

The colour chosen most often. Deep, mirror-flat and contrasts with every timber.
Matt Black

Gloss black with a satin surface. Softer under light, hides fingerprints.
Silver
Metallic
Cool metallic with a pearl surface.
Cobalt Blue

Saturated blue with depth. Strongest against oak and ash.
Turquoise

Bright, pearlescent blue-green.
Teal

Darker than turquoise, with a pearlescent swirl.
Translucent Blue
Clear
Tinted clear. Light passes through the river.
Smoke Grey

Neutral grey with a soft metallic swirl. Sits well with walnut.
Emerald Green

Deep green with movement.
Gold
Metallic
Metallic gold. Used sparingly, as in The Meridian.
Copper
Metallic
Warm metallic that picks up the red in cherry and walnut.
Deep Brown

Colour-matched to the timber for a river that reads as shadow.
